JuriGlobe is a research group formed by professors from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa. This website provides lawyers and businessmen with a simple and modern device which enables them to have an initial overview of the applicable legal systems and the official languages which apply to the countries in which they are likely to operate. It also provides a visual educational tool aimed at illustrating and encouraging the teaching of comparative and international law.
Canada/Federal
The principal functions of the Treaty Law Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade are, on the one hand, to provide legal advice, both within the Department and to other government departments, on treaty law and, on the other hand, to take care of the actual "nuts and bolts" of the Canada's treaty-making activities. In addition they maintain up-to-date records of all pertinent information relating to the status of treaties affecting Canada.

The mission of the American Society of International Law is to foster the study of international law and to promote the establishment and maintenance of international relations on the basis of law and justice.
The Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) is an international, multi-generational, feminist, creative, future-orientated membership organization committed to achieving gender equality, sustainable development and women's human rights. AWID’s work is structured through multi-year programs known as Strategic Initiatives. Each strategic initiative includes a range of activities from membership consultations and surveys, primary research and dialogues with policy makers (including targeted advocacy) to capacity building institutes, regional networking and information dissemination. In addition, AWID works to ensure that the specific priorities and voices of young women are strongly represented in all our initiatives.
The Avon Global Center for Women and Justice at Cornell Law School works with judges, legal professionals, governmental and non-governmental organizations to improve access to justice in an effort to eliminate violence against women and girls.
The Center for World Indigenous Studies (CWIS) is an independent, non-profit research and education organization dedicated to wider understanding and appreciation of the ideas and knowledge of indigenous peoples and the social, economic and political realities of indigenous nations.
The CEC is an international organization created by Canada, Mexico and the United States under the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation. The CEC was established to address regional environmental concerns, help prevent potential trade and environmental conflicts, and to promote the effective enforcement of environmental law. The Agreement complements the environmental provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement.
The Cornell International Law Journal (ILJ) was founded in 1967. Three times a year, the Journal publishes scholarship that reflects the sweeping changes that are taking place in public and private international law. Each issue features articles by legal scholars, practitioners, and participants in international politics, as well as student-written notes. Articles are freely available as PDFs online.
